My husband is a leap year baby! We like to kid him that he is actually the youngest person in our family at twelve years old. It makes you pause and think...what would I be doing if I could turn the clock back?


Leap year becomes a symbolic bridge between past and present, encouraging us to integrate the wisdom of experience with the boundless optimism of our youth. In our fast-paced lives, it's easy to feel weighed down by the demands of adulthood. However, the secret to staying young isn't found in a time machine, it is through embracing a youthful mindset. Here are 31 ideas to infuse your life with some fun and give your spirit a refresh.



  1. Bingo - It's cool now! It's not just your grandma's hobby! Dab away!

  2. Sleep in - Sleep supports heart health, weight management, and can increase memory and learning.

  3. Explore nature - Find a new walking trail, listen to the birds, watch a sunrise / sunset. Being in nature can lower cortisol levels, heart rate and blood pressure.
